How long does it take for wine to ferment? 

 

 

Answer:

Primary fermentation usually takes between three to seven days to complete. Time in secondary fermentation is determined by various factors - yeast, temperature, etc. - which could take upwards of weeks to a year.

Answer:

 For around $150 USD (wine equipment and wine kit), you can produce approximately 30 bottles of wine that would normally cost around $15 ea or roughly $450 USD.

4.5 gallons of warm water
12 lbs. white table sugar
1 1/2 tsp. acid blend
4 tsp. yeast nutrient
2 1/2 tsp. pectic enzyme
1/2 tsp. wine tannin
5 campden tablets, crushed or 5 liquid tsp. solution of bisulfite
